Journal / Absorption
Everything a formula has to get past.
The barrier is very good at its job, and its job is keeping things out. What the outer layer refuses, what size and sequence change, how long any of it honestly takes. This is the argument the rest of the Journal rests on.
Nothing else on this site holds up without this subject, so it is the one to read first even though it is not the one anybody searches for. Everything in the other four is downstream of it.
The reason is unglamorous. An active has to be present, has to be stable, and has to arrive somewhere it can act. The industry competes hard on the first two because they can be printed on a carton, and mostly declines to discuss the third because it cannot. A percentage is a claim about a bottle. Arrival is a claim about you, and it is a much harder one to make.
Read from here and the other subjects change job. Ingredients stops being a list of names and becomes a question about what can travel. Absorption stops being about a device and becomes about a route. Skin concerns stops being a shopping list and becomes a set of depths.
