Journal / Skin concerns
The reason you went looking.
Pores, pigment, lines, texture, and the slow loss of firmness. Every entry here starts with the mechanism rather than the fix, because what a thing is decides what can move it. Where a product belongs in the answer it is named as a product, not as a promise.
Search results for any of these are written to sell, which is why they agree with each other and with nothing you can observe in a mirror. The shape is always the same: name the concern, name the ingredient, close. What goes missing is the step in between, where the concern turns out to be two or three different things wearing the same word.
Dark spots are the clearest case. Sun damage, the mark a spot left behind, and melasma all show up as brown patches, answer to different things, and carry different odds. One of the three belongs with a doctor. The entries here spend their first half on that distinction, because the second half is worth nothing without it.
So these pages are diagnostic before they are anything else. Several end by saying the honest answer is a clinic, or time, or the sunscreen you already own. Read the mechanism first and the shopping decision gets much smaller, which is the opposite of what a shop is supposed to want and still the right order to do it in.
