01 Why a pore looks bigger
A pore has no muscle. It does not open and it does not shut, so nothing you apply makes it do either. It is the opening of a shaft, and oil collects in it.

How much niacinamide is in this vial
210,000 ppm on the manufacturer's composition sheet. Most labels print the ingredient and leave the number out. Most leave-on niacinamide sits in single digits. Going to 21 percent set the pH, the carrier and the preservation, all of it.
02 What we put in, and why that one
Niacinamide, 21 percent. A form of vitamin B3, and one of the most studied ingredients in skincare. On an ingredient statement its jobs are oil regulation and barrier support.
Then the honest part
More is not automatically better. A high level of niacinamide makes some skin flush, and 21 percent is four times the usual ceiling. Patch test along your jaw for a few nights before you take it to your whole face. A concentration is a fact about what is sealed in the glass. It is not a promise about you.

The interval between these two photographs is not recorded here, so we are not going to state one. Same person, same framing. Both frames got the identical crop and compression, neither was retouched. They were not shot under matched lighting, so some of the difference in sheen is the light.
What this is
This is one person. Two photographs of one face are a case, not evidence. Skin varies, the interval is not recorded, and nothing here predicts what yours will do.
Tip figures are the PRO-5D Nano cartridge, one of the two tip types in the box. The other, PRO-R Nano, is 15 µm. Cross-section is arithmetic on two published diameters and is a property of the tip, not a measure of tissue, sensation or healing.

The whole line is arranged on a single axis. Choose the depth and the ampoule follows, because each one is formulated for the layer that setting reaches.
The axis is the device's real range, 0.5 to 1.5 mm. The skin layers beside it are drawn schematically for reading, not to anatomical scale, and depth needed varies between people.

The preservation system. A sterile single-fill vial needs less of it than a jar does.
Formulated at pH 6.0, a specification with a tolerance that every batch is measured against. Percentages come from the manufacturer's composition sheet for this ampoule. Molecules are drawn to the real skeleton of each ingredient and are illustrations, not structural formulae. Fragrance and linalool together come to 100 ppm here. 02 Brightening and 03 Wrinkle carry none at all. If you avoid added scent, that is the line to read before you pick an ampoule.
Getting it out
The seal is never broken.
The crimp stays on. The dropper pushes through a rubber seal in the middle of the cap and draws a dose. The cap itself never comes off.

An aluminum crimp with a rubber septum under it. It is not a lid and it does not come off in normal use.

The blunt plastic tip goes through the septum and the rubber closes behind it. Nothing else goes in with it.

A pump pulls room air back in on every press. A bottle you unscrew meets your hands. This one meets neither.

If the seal resists
We made it tough on purpose, for hygiene. If the syringe will not pass, pierce the rubber at the opening with something sharp.
Each ampoule ships with a 1 mL syringe. The dropper goes through the rubber seal in the cap. The cap never comes off, so the liquid never meets the air.
Loading it
From the vial into the cartridge.
The applicator ships in the box with the vial. Three moves, and the cartridge is loaded.
Take the cover off.
Pull the gray cover straight off the tip. Hold the barrel, not the plunger.
Push it through the seal, then draw.
Press the tip against the rubber seal in the middle of the cap until it goes through. Then pull the plunger back and draw the ampoule up into the barrel. The seal is tough on purpose, for hygiene. If the syringe will not make a hole, pierce it first with something sharp.
Seat it in the cartridge.
Push the filled applicator into the clear cartridge until it seats. That is the part that goes on the device.
The applicator draws from the vial and fills the cartridge. Nothing here is injected. You are putting this on skin that has just been opened, which is the reason the cap is crimped rather than screwed. How the seal works

Do I need the device, or does this work on its own?
It works on its own the way any serum does, which is the problem this brand exists to talk about. The formula was built for a barrier that has just been opened, so the device is what it was designed around. You can buy either first.
Is it cheaper to buy it with the device?
Yes. Put both in the cart and 10% comes off the ampoule automatically. Nothing to type at checkout.
How long does one vial last?
That depends on how much you use and how often, so we are not going to give you a number we cannot stand behind. It is 50 mL, which is large for an ampoule, and the recommended cadence with the device is once a week.
Is it safe to use this concentration at home?
It is a cosmetic product formulated for home use, not a professional-only formula. Patch test on a small area first, and if your skin reacts to something, stop using it. Nothing here treats a medical condition.
Can I use it with my other actives?
Leave retinoids and exfoliating acids out of the same session. Give the skin the night, and go back to your normal routine after.
